HACA Has Opened The Public Housing Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis (HACA) has opened the Waiting List for Public Housing programs. Interested parties can submit a completed pre-application form to HACA to get themselves added to the desired Waiting List. When we have vacancies that we need to fill, we will select applicants based on a combination of preferences and the date and time of submission of their completed pre-application form. You can submit a pre-application form at this time by picking up a form from one of our offices or downloading and printing the document linked below, filling out the form, and then delivering it to either our Main Office at 1217 Madison Street in Annapolis or one of our property offices, by mailing it via U.S. Postal Service, or by faxing it to (410) 267-8290.

You can also register online through our RentCafe portal at myportal.hacamd.org. If you are a current Applicant, Resident, or Landlord you will need to register on RentCafe before you can apply for the open Waiting Lists. If you are a current Applicant, Resident, or Landlord, you will need your Registration Code to register the first time and if you don't have your Registration Code, then you can contact your Property Manager or send an email to rentcafe.help@hacamd.org with your contact information. If you are a brand new Applicant, when you are registering online, you should select the link for "I do not have a Registration Code" and then proceed.

If you are already registered in RentCafe, you just need to log in to myportal.hacamd.org and then click on the "Apply to Waiting Lists" button to apply for the desired Waiting List.

Note: We have consolidated our Public Housing Waiting Lists into a single Waiting List. Applicants no longer need to identify the property that they are applying for.
