What is the Housing Choice Voucher Program?
HACA Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) offers the opportunity for low-income families to choose affordable rental housing within Anne Arundel County. Freedom of choice enables the family to obtain affordable housing outside areas of high poverty concentration. It also offers participants a chance for a better quality of life by providing access to greater employment opportunities and access to better schools and after-school programs.

How affordable is HCVP?
Rent Payment: The formula used in determining rental payment is the highest of the following:
- 30% of monthly adjusted income (after allowed deductions)
- 10% of monthly gross income
- $0 minimum rent
How long is the wait for a HCVP?
The Waiting List is currently closed.
