 January 2021 Board Meeting Update

As we continue to implement precautionary measures to minimize the coronavirus's spread while continuing to support our clients, this month’s Board Meeting will be conducted as a conference call. Since this is a new format for us, we would like to lay out some ground rules to help things run smoothly.

• All participants other than the board members and staff members will be muted at the beginning of the meeting.
• When you dial in to the call, be sure to record your name or we won’t be able to call you when it comes time for comments from the public.
• When comments from the public are requested, you should click the chat button at the bottom of the video screen and let us know that you have a comment.
• When comments from the public are requested, individuals will be given two minutes to speak.
• If the Board Meeting goes into a closed session, all callers other than the closed session participants will be disconnected.
• As required by law, this meeting will be recorded.

Public Hearing 

The Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis (HACA) has drafted its proposed FY2022 Annual PHA Plan, which summarizes HACA’s policies, rules, and requirements concerning HACA’s operations, programs, and services.  HACA is seeking public comment on the proposed Plan at a public hearing to be held via video conference on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at 5:30 pm, assuming restrictions on gatherings due to COVID-19 remain in effect that time. The Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis is participating in the Baltimore Regional Project-Based Voucher Program with six other housing agencies and the Baltimore Metropolitan Council. This program has made the following awards of project-based vouchers (PBVs):

The participating Howard County Housing Commission has been recused from decisions in each round of awards because of involvement or potential involvement in a proposal.

New Office Hours
